About Lindsey Tate

For the past twenty years, I have worked as an Elementary Learning Support teacher in the US and internationally (Tanzania, Jordan, and Vietnam). I have supported countless families on the journey from initial diagnosis to providing ongoing holistic support.

As an educator with a BA in Education (PK-6 Education/K-12 Special Education) and a Masters in TESOL (Teaching Education to Speakers of Other Languages) I work to meet children where they are with love and understanding. As a passionate advocate for inclusion I am a certified Inclusive Leader (LEAD Inclusion) and recently served for 3 years as Co-chair on the SENIA Vietnam Board. This global inclusion advocacy organization promotes awareness in local and international schools throughout each country and builds wider networks of education and support to families and caregivers.

My philosophy is that all children belong, all children learn, and all children succeed. Instead of requiring them to learn how we teach, I support teachers and parents to develop various avenues for children to demonstrate their knowledge in their own unique ways. Together we will develop a plan to support the whole child to learn, grow, play and thrive.

the lotus

“Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.”
- Lao Tzu

Have you ever seen a lotus pond?
While living in Vietnam, we saw them a lot.

Emerging from nothing, but a patch of dried earth and mud, the water moves in, the seeds find a home , roots attach to ground, stems grow and flowers flourish.
